Dr. Christopher Stroud is an orthopedic surgeon who performs outpatient procedures at UnaSource Surgery Center in Oakland County. His clinical interests include foot and ankle surgery, arthritis surgery, deformity correction, sports related injuries, cartilage repair techniques, arthroscopy, and minimally invasive bunion correction.
His practice at Southeast Michigan Center for Orthopedics specializes in general orthopedics, sports medicine, arthroplasty, foot and ankle, trauma and fracture, and more. He is also affiliated with William Beaumont Hospital in Troy, Michigan. Dr. Stroud diagnoses and treats injuries, and he works with his patients to create a plan for treatment that best serves each individual situation. His priority is making sure that you can quickly return to your sport at or above your pre-injury performance level.
Dr. Stroud is Board Certified through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery with a subspecialty certification in sports medicine. His passion for sports medicine has driven him to establish himself as an expert in his field. Throughout his career, he has had numerous publications, presentations, and leadership roles.

Dr. Stroud cares about the well-being of his patients, and he has been caring for orthopedic injuries since 1992. Dr. Stroud loves to spend time with his wife and three children. He is also an athlete himself and often participates in mountain bike races in his spare time.
He received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 1988 and received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit in 1992. He then completed his residency at the Detroit Medical Center, as well as two fellowships: one in Sports Medicine at the University of Chicago and one in Foot & Ankle at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
