Each year, SPH Analytics recognizes the highest performing healthcare entities with this “Gold Standard of Service” award. APEX, which means the highest or culminating point, is further defined by SPH Analytics as “Attributes for Patient Excellence.”
This national distinction recognizes outstanding healthcare organizations that have demonstrated the highest levels of excellence in patient satisfaction and overall care over a 12-month period. The evaluation process is based on key performance indicators tied to clinical, operational, and interpersonal measures, with an emphasis on actual care. The award is based on scoring provided from each entity’s patients.
APEX Quality Award winners represent healthcare providers who consistently achieve the highest level of patient satisfaction. Clinical interaction is also heavily weighted in all markets, and SPH Analytics evaluates the complementary measures they believe contribute to the effectiveness of care.
