UnaSource Surgery Center has partnered with Therapists That Care for on-site, day of surgery, physical therapy as a benefit to all of our patients receiving total knee replacement or total hip replacement surgery. This valuable service rounds out our comprehensive total joint program to ensure our patients go home feeling confident and prepared for their at-home recovery.
Before you leave our surgery center, the physical therapy team will work with you and your support person on how to get in and out of bed, into and out of a chair, and up and down stairs. They will also teach you how to move around safely and how to use any assistive devices such a walker or brace.
