Dr. Tad Sprunger is a podiatric surgeon who performs outpatient procedures at the UnaSource Surgery Center in Oakland County. He is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and he specializes in foot and ankle sports medicine, reconstructive surgery, and revision surgery. He has many other clinical interests, including wound management in the foot and lower leg, slow healing and non-healing wounds, joint replacement options in foot surgery, and diabetic related foot conditions.
He is also affiliated with William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, where he has worked with and trained residents throughout his career. He continues to teach residents at Beaumont and is currently on staff there as well. He is also a staff member of Troy Foot & Ankle, P.C.
Dr. Sprunger has participated in sports throughout his life, and he enjoys being athletic in his spare time. He has been in practice for 25 years with a wide variety of experiences, many relating to sports medicine and injury treatment. He has treated athletes at all levels of competition, including NCAA Division I athletes.

- Being a physician at the Beaumont Hospital Performance Orthopedics practice in Bingham Farms, MI (2013-2018).
- Working as the team Podiatrist and Foot and Ankle Consultant for Oakland University Athletic Teams, (2013-2016) and Rochester College Athletic Teams, (2016-2018).
Dr. Sprunger completed his undergraduate degree at Michigan State University, and he received his medical degree from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL, in 1995. He then completed his foot and ankle surgical training residency at Edgewater Medical Center in Chicago, IL, where he served as the Chief Resident in his final year.
Throughout his career, Dr. Sprunger has been recognized for his expertise and skills. He has been asked to lecture at conferences and educational programs throughout the United States, presenting on a variety of topics relating to foot and ankle surgery. In his professional career, he has held several leadership positions on committees and boards for organizations and surgery centers.
